Jenazah Services Facility Update
Mustafa Center Jenazah Services Facility Receives Key Regulatory Approvals Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to announce that the Mustafa Center Jenazah Services Facility has successfully received all required approvals to begin serving the community.
On January 10, 2026, the facility was officially granted the Nonresidential Use Permit (NONRUP). This was followed by the issuance of the Funeral Service Licenses by the Virginia Department of Health and Professionals and the Virginia Funeral Board. These approvals represent significant milestones in the establishment of a dedicated, faith-based jenazah services facility for our community.
With these authorizations in place, we are now moving forward to the next phase, which includes furnishing the facility for full operational services and preparing for the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, the date of which will be announced in the near future. In shã’ Allãh.
At this time, the facility is operational and prepared to provide the following essential services:
• Transportation of the deceased from hospitals or residences
• Islamic washing (Ghus!)
• Shrouding (Kafan)
• Transportation and delivery to the cemetery
As we continue preparations toward full-service operations, we look forward to the official Grand Opening of the Mustafa Center Jenazah Services Facility.
We eagerly anticipate welcoming the community to join us in celebrating this important and meaningful achievement.
