Article Three: Formation, Authorities, and Responsibilities of the Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees consists of seven permanent members of Afghan origin, selected from among the founders and former leaders of the Afghan Academy and the Mustafa Center, whose terms have concluded. Members are appointed on a permanent basis.

The Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the highest decision-making authority within an organization or center, responsible for overseeing and reviewing the activities of the Board of Directors.

When specific issues arise that require additional input, the Board can seek insights from the General Assembly for participation in discussions or decision-making processes, which typically depend on the nature of the issue or the need for broader representation.

The Board of Trustees holds the final decision-making authority.
– Engaging the General Assembly promotes transparency and encourages democratic participation.

This structure allows the Board to maintain its authority while remaining receptive to valuable insights from the General Assembly, fostering collaboration and informed decision-making.
