Project Accomplishments & Financial Summary:

  • Total Donations From 2012 to June 2023: $2,310,661.58
  • Total Qarz Hassanah Received: $1,403,257.07 (To be repaid)
  • Construction Loan: $1,266,085.45 (To be repaid)
  • Total Expenses From 2012 to June 2023: $4,980,004.10
    • $4,575,404.10 in expenses for: Land purchase, building design, site development, county submission fees, taxes, insurance and fundraising expenses, contractor/construction costs
    • $404,600 in expenses for posting bonds- refundable
  • May 2019: Groundbreaking Ceremony
  • May 2019: Brick Campaign Kickoff
    • A total of 54,000 bricks (~$2.6 million) required to complete the construction of the Funeral Facility.
    • Each brick costs $48 (includes construction costs).
    • For donations of $2,500 and higher, a plaque in the donor’s name will be placed inside the facility wall.

a) Approximately $407,060 (as of 2019) was required to begin the construction permit process. – Complete, fees/bonds posted
