We greet you with the same greetings that humans used since Prophet Adam (peace and blessings be upon him) - Assalamu Alaykum | Peace be upon you.
“To serve, support, unite and strengthen the Muslim community and the community at large in the Washington Metropolitan area by providing and/or facilitating relevant and effective knowledge & Learning (religious and other), social services, and improved communication and understanding based on the principles of the Qur’an and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).”
Our three key operational principles:
1. To Serve All People Equally with Utmost Dignity and Respect – a noble place free of any and all discrimination and racism;
2. To Communicate Internally and Externally on a regular basis in an efficient and effective manner; and
3. To Maximize Reach and Impact by Building meaningful Partnerships and Leveraging.
Mustafa Center is an institution that will continue to work even harder to serve and operate based on the Quranic principles and the teachings of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh). This institution belongs to the whole Muslim community, and not to any specific ethnic group(s) and/or nationalities. As such, within the premise and context of the Mustafa Center, any action and/or words contrary to this principle by any individual(s) WILL NOT be tolerated in any way, shape or form.
As a peaceful, non-sectarian and an open masjid, we would like everyone to feel welcome at Mustafa Center. However, there is an administration and rules/guidelines/policies in place here and NO ONE is allowed to break the rules of the masjid and create discord or unruliness while on the premises of the masjid. Discipline, unity, and cohesion of the Mustafa Center community supersede all other concerns, views, and agendas.
We would like to make this website as informative and interactive as possible. If you have any comments, criticism or suggestions that would help us achieve this goal, please contact us. We would love to hear your feedback.
